Administration

You can manage Lifesize Dash rooms from the Admin Console.

Unpair

Unpairing a Lifesize Dash room reduces the number of active Dash licenses for your account. To view your active and total number of Dash licenses available, navigate to Account Settings and click the Account Details tab. 

  1. Log in to the Admin Console.
  2. Click Room Systems.
  3. Select the check box beside the room name and then click Unpair. Confirm that you want to unpair this room.

Delete

NOTE: You must unpair Lifesize Dash before deleting a room. 

  1. Log in to the Admin Console.
  2. Click Room Systems.
  3. Select the check box beside the room name and then click Delete. Confirm that you want to delete this room.

Custom Background

If you have Lifesize Dash rooms connected to the Lifesize cloud-based service, you can upload a custom background image via the Admin Console.

Important: The custom background image selected will be applied to all Lifesize Dash rooms and Icon systems associated with your account.

  1. Log in to the Admin Console.
  2. Click on Account Settings in the left menu.
  3. Click on Device Settings in the top navigation.
  4. In the Custom Backgrounds panel, select Custom background and drop the desired PNG file over the the preview image, or click to browse and select the desired PNG file.
  5. Click the Update button to apply.

To change the background image, drop a different PNG file over the preview image, or click to browse and select, then click Update.

To remove the current background image, select No background, then click Update.
