- As of June 29: Live Captions are available as a Beta feature for English escalated calls (i.e. more than two participants, or recorded) and can be enabled in-meeting with a new button next to the Raise Hand icon

- Several improvements have been made to virtual backgrounds to resolve various performance issues
- An issue was resolved with attempting to initiate a webapp call to an invalid extension where the Try Again option tried existing extension and didn’t allow the user to enter a new extension or search the directory
- We resolved an issue where the remote moderation options were not displayed for meeting owners

Enhancements:
- Updates have been made to expand the chat service while improving message security, including:
- Enabling chat for one-time and passcode protected meetings
- Automatically adding meeting participants to the meeting’s chat when they join a call
- Hiding chats and notifications for out-of-call participants who aren’t the VMR owner
- Limiting chat history for participants to the meetings in which they attended, and hiding any chats that occurred in the VMR prior to their joining
- Providing out-of-call read-only chat transcripts to meeting owners
- A “block presentation” feature that enables the meeting owner or moderator to determine who can share content during a meeting
- The call details have been updated to a Meeting Information panel that lists meeting details such as name, host, moderator as well as a new section for meeting settings that include moderator settings an in-call controls such as block sharing and lock meeting
Known Issues:
- Previous chat history, prior to this update, is hidden from view but can be exported if necessary
by submitting a support request - Mobile users should update to their latest version to ensure a seamless experience across all meeting participants
- Counts for point-to-point messages for out-of-call web chat may be incorrect following this
initial update, and will be resolved in an upcoming release

- Updated the local certificate running on Windows to fix an issue launching the Lifesize app as well as an issue logging into Lifesize using a 3rd-party single-sign-on identity provider.
If you are unable to log into Lifesize, you will need to manually update your Lifesize desktop application. Go to the Downloads page, download the appropriate file for your operating system, and then run the executable file.
The Windows app executables and libraries are now signed by “Enghouse Interactive (UK) Limited.”
