Advanced Settings

Advanced admin actions can be done from the Advanced Setting page. In the Room Controller App, navigate to Settings > Advanced Settings.

Admin PIN

  • Change Admin PIN — Tap to change the Admin PIN for access to the Fusion system.

Admin Settings

  • Network Settings — The following information displays under Network Settings:
DHCP ServerDHCP dynamically allocates and assigns IP addresses. If you disable DHCP, enter the locally configured IP address, subnet mask (used to partition the IP addresses into a network and host identifier), and default gateway.
IP AddressEnter the IP address of the system.
Subnet MaskEnter the subnet mask information.
Default GatewayEnter the Default Gateway details.
Static DNS Server 1 & 2Enter the IP addresses to configure DNS servers. Enter the domain names to search when resolving hostnames. DNS translates names of network nodes into addresses; specify this preference to use DNS to resolve the hostnames to IP addresses.
  • Test Network — Tap Run Test to check the room system’s connectivity to your network and the Cloud Service.
    Use the Advanced Settings back icon to return to the Advanced Settings page.
  • Network Settings Reset — Tap Reset to return all network settings to the default values and have the system request an address from the DCHP server.
  • System Settings Reset — Tap Reset to return all system settings to the default values and repeat the system setups.
  • Generate Diagnostics Report — Tap Generate Diagnostics Report to create a report from system logs. Tap OK when log collection is completed.

Sleep and Wake

  • Idle Timeout — Enable Idle Timeout and configure the Idle Timeout Interval for automatic sleep and wake functions.
  • Idle Timeout Interval — Use the slider to define how long the system will sit idle before automatically going to sleep. You can define a time lasting between 1 and 120 minutes. Tap Confirm to set the timeout interval.

Meet

  • Set Join by ID as the default in the Meet tab — To set Join by ID as the default tab when joining meetings, in the Room Controller App enable Set Join by ID as default in the Meet tab.
  • Set Join by Go as the default in the Meet tab — To set Join by GO as the default tab when joining meetings, in the Room Controller App enable Set Join by ID as default in the Meet tab.

Disconnect Tablet — Tap Disconnect Tablet to manually disconnect the Fusion Controller tablet from the Fusion room system. This option can be used if the Fusion Controller has an issue connecting to the Fusion room system, or you need to manually unpair and then repair the Fusion Controller with another Fusion room system.
