Join by ID

From the Lifesize Controller App on your Android tablet you can join a Microsoft Teams®, Google Meet™, or Zoom® meeting using the meeting ID found in the meeting invitation.

Note: This feature is only available to users of Connect Plus Gateway.

Joining a Meeting by ID

Note: Users must download version 2.2.2 – 4528 or later of Lifesize Controller App from the Google Play Store to see the Join by ID feature.

1. From the Meet screen, on the Join by ID tab, tap the provider option you want to use for the meeting: Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet.
2. Tap the meeting ID field.
3. Use the keypad to enter the meeting ID found in your invitation.
4. If the meeting has a passcode, check the “Does the meeting have a passcode?” box.
   If you check the passcode box, tap the field and use the keypad to enter the passcode.
   Note: Google Meet meetings do not use passcodes.
5. Tap the appropriate call button, “Call with camera on” or “Call with camera off” to call into the meeting.

Join by ID RCA Setting

The Join by ID tab displays automatically on the Meet screen.
To set Join by ID as the default tab when joining meetings, in the Lifesize Controller App at Settings >Advanced, toggle the setting “Set Join by ID as default in the Meet tab” to On.
