Join by Go

From the Lifesize Room Controller App on your Android tablet you can join a Microsoft Teams®, Google Meet™, or Zoom® meeting using Connect Go.

Note: This feature is only available to users of Connect Plus Gateway.

Joining a Meeting

Note: Users must download version 2.2.2 – 5443 or later of Lifesize Room Controller App from the Google Play Store to see the Join by Go feature.

1. From the Meet screen, on the Join by Go tab, tap the appropriate call button, “Call with camera on” or “Call with camera off” to call into the meeting.
2. With a mobile device, scan the QR code that displays on the screen.
   Note: The user should open the QR link in a web browser on their mobile device and then log into their Microsoft 365 account to access their calendar.
3. Swipe and select the meeting to attend and then click Join.
   The meeting opens using your room conferencing system.
   Note: Call controls are found on the mobile device.

Join by Go RCA Setting

The Join by Go tab displays automatically on the Meet screen.
To set Join by Go as the default tab when joining meetings, in the Lifesize Room Controller App at Settings >Advanced, toggle the setting “Set Join by Go as default in the Meet tab” to On.
